BOARD OF DIRECTORS COMMITTEES
FUND DEVELOPMENT
Establish annual and long-term fund raising goals and plans for Community for Youth that encompass diverse funding sources
Pursue community and corporate contacts for funding
Manage special events relating to fundraising
MARKETING
Identify Community for Youth's public relations needs
Plan the annual marketing strategy
Promote Community for Youth's programs and fundraisers
Oversee press releases and update marketing materials
MENTOR RECRUITMENT
Collaborate with staff to recruit mentors to meet Community for Youth's program needs
HUMAN RESOURCES
Make recommendations to the Board re: staff compensation and benefits
Oversee the annual evaluation of the Executive Director
BOARD DEVELOPMENT
Develop and implement an annual Board Development Plan
Oversee the selection of new board members
Provide training and mentoring for new board members
Evaluate and work to improve the board experience
FINANCE
Collaborate with staff to prepare the annual budget
Report on financial business to the Board
Manage Community for Youth's financial responsibilities
