COMMUNITY FOR YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
We are looking for 12-15 people to serve on our Advisory Council who bring a range of experience and contacts to support Community for Youth's mission.
We expect our advisors to contribute to Community for Youth in one or more of the following ways:
Name We would like to be able to identify advisors in our marketing and other materials to enhance the organization's credibility.
Advice We would like to meet with our advisors up to two (2) times per year, and at other times as appropriate by telephone or one-on-one, to discuss issues and leverage the expertise and contacts of our advisors.
Fundraising We would like to have our advisors support our fundraising efforts through personal contributions and attending, recruiting, hosting and/or speaking at our fundraising events.
Contacts We would like our advisors to use their rolodex to help us connect with individuals or organizations that can benefit Community for Youth.
Community Advocate We would like our advisors to be an advocate in the greater-Seattle community, and to increase the visibility of Community for Youth.
Stay Current on CFY We ask that our advisors will invest sufficient time to stay current on Community for Youth's mission and programs in order to be effective at the responsibilities outlined above.
